How to use it
- Log each contractor visit, the task, and confirm the contractor's competence - for water treatment/hygiene, membership of a scheme such as the LCA is a useful assurance.
- Check and record that RAMS (risk assessment and method statement) and any permit to work are in place before work starts.
- Note who supervised or signed the contractor on and off site.
- Confirm completed records, certificates and results are returned and filed in your logbook so the work forms part of your compliance evidence.
