Who we are
Legionella.io is published by REMOTE TECH LTD, registered in England & Wales, company number 10422879, of Stamford House, Primett Road, Stevenage, Hertfordshire, SG1 3EE, United Kingdom.
General information only
The articles, tools, templates and posters give general information about Legionella control in the UK. They are not legal, medical, engineering or design advice, and using them does not create a professional relationship with us. They do not replace a risk assessment or advice from a competent person who knows your premises.
Accuracy
We work to keep the content accurate and link to the official sources it relies on. Law and guidance change, and we cannot promise that every page is complete or up to date. Check the linked official source before you rely on anything here.
Tools and templates
The tools do arithmetic or sort the answers you give. Their results depend on what you enter and are not a risk assessment, a treatment dose or a legal decision. Templates are starting points to adapt to your own site.
Health
Nothing here is medical advice. If you think someone may have Legionnaires' disease, contact their GP or NHS 111, or call 999 in an emergency.
Our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or anything on it. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Other sites and our products
We link to official sources and other sites we do not control, and are not responsible for their content. L8log is our own product; links to it are labelled.
Reusing our content
Editorial content is licensed CC BY 4.0. You may quote, adapt and republish it with attribution and a link back. The limits above still apply to any copy.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the version on this page applies. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Questions: email .
